Kazakhstan is the country of the ancient civilization of the Eurasian continent, and is home to nomadic tribes, a respectable part of the world of the Great Silk Road (1,400 km). Here, ancientry and modernity, eastern traditions and western modernism intertwisted in an unusual way.

It is located on the bank of the Ishim River, in the northern part of Kazakhstan, in the Akmola region, although it is divided from the region as a city with a special status. It was founded in 1830 as a settlement of Akmola (Kazakh: Akmol), it served as a defensive fortification for the Siberian Cossacks.
